Justice (Retd.) M.L. Mehta (Senior Mediator)

  • Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of India and practicing Mediation & Arbitration.

  • Former Judge of the High Court of Delhi, India and has 36 years of experience as judicial officer.

  • Successfully mediated & conciliated several thousand cases.

  • Amongst the first batch of five judicial officers in India in 2005 to receive 40 hours of mediation training held by the Supreme Court of India in association with master trainers from California.

  • Certified Master Trainer from CEDR (UK).

  • Successfully established and ran the Karkardooma, Court-annexed Mediation Centre in Delhi. Also, helped establish many court-annexed mediation centres across India.

  • Imparted MCPC Mediation Training to Lawyers & Judges across India. 

  • Worked on the preparation of mediation training manual for Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) of the Supreme Court of India.

  • 1st Asian to be part of the Weinstein JAMS Fellowship Foundation at JAMS, California. Honoured with the award of Outstanding International Commercial Disputes Resolver.

  • Visiting scholar on ADR at Stanford University (USA).

  • As Principal Secretary Law & Justice, was the first in India to institutionalize mediation with the establishment of the Delhi Dispute Resolution Society (DDRS), as a joint project between the Delhi Government and High Court of Delhi.

  • French Court Attorney and Solicitor (England & Wales), Antoine has been a CEDR (Center for Effective Dispute Resolution) accredited mediator since 2006.

  • Franco-Canadian and perfectly bilingual, Antoine teaches Mediation and Arbitration in the Master 2 program "English and North American Business Law" (Paris 1 University). He is a graduate of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Paris Panthéon-Assas University, and the London School of Economics.

  • Antoine regularly participates in France and abroad (England, United States, Morocco, Cameroon) in corporate settings, universities, training sessions, round tables, and symposiums related to alternative dispute resolution, arbitration, or negotiation. For 35 years, as counsel, negotiator, and mediator, Antoine has developed domestic and international expertise. He assists his clients in all areas of business life, whether in alternative dispute resolution, litigation, or arbitration.
